My Hands-On Role
Head of Media Production (promoted from Video Editor) — supervised studio teleprompter shoots, field camerawork, audio balancing, and post-production turnaround under daily newsroom deadlines.
How We Planned It
- Created an organized newsroom schedule: morning topic selection, midday filming/reporting, afternoon editorial cutting, and evening release.
- Trained camera operators and junior editors on standardized framing, clean lapel mic placement, and rapid keyboard editing shortcuts.
- Emphasized verified regional facts and citizen voices over noisy sensationalism.
How It Was Executed On The Ground
