The Challenge & Background

Tatsat Chronicle covers India's social sector, ESG investments, and corporate CSR projects. As a pioneer magazine in this space, it needed engaging digital video content to accompany its in-depth print editions and reach online audiences on LinkedIn and Twitter/X.

Primary Objective

Produce authentic field video features, cover sustainability roundtables, and build a consistent multimedia presence that engages corporate CSR heads and NGO leaders.

My Hands-On Role

Digital Content Producer — supervised digital content creation, directed on-location field video shoots, interviewed grassroots leaders, and coordinated digital media marketing.

How We Planned It

  • Traveled directly to project sites to show real on-ground challenges rather than accepting staged corporate promotional handouts.
  • Repurposed 4,000-word investigative magazine articles into punchy, 2-minute video briefs with key data callouts.
  • Connected corporate ESG goals with measurable ground outcomes: liters of water saved, saplings nurtured, and rural livelihoods created.

How It Was Executed On The Ground

  • 1
Operated cameras and directional shotgun mics in demanding field conditions including village farm fields and riverbanks.
  • 2
Assembled narrative documentaries in Adobe Premiere Pro, combining field b-roll, expert soundbites, and animated data infographics.
  • 3
Managed weekly social media publishing schedules, crafting informative copy and engaging relevant development stakeholders.

What Worked & Measurable Impact

  • •Produced multiple video series on water management, rural education, and healthcare that earned widespread acclaim across the CSR community.
  • •Grew Tatsat Chronicle's digital readership among foundation directors, sustainability officers, and academic researchers.
  • •Strengthened the magazine's authority as the definitive multimedia bridge between corporate funders and grassroots implementers.

Practical Lessons Learned

  • •The best social sector stories focus on the perseverance of local community members rather than just the corporate funding logo.
